What We Do
We offer specialized dental hygiene services for patients who are unable to visit a local dental office.
We see patients who are experiencing any physical, emotional, mental or social barriers that would inhibit their ability to visit a dental office. This includes, but is not limited to, any person that suffers from a physical disability, severe dental anxiety, are on hospice, have transportation limitations or those residing in an underserved community with limited dental resources.
What Is an RDHAP?
An RDHAP is a Registered Dental Hygienist of Alternative Practice. This is a specialized license beyond the RDH in the state of California. Preventative and therapeutic dental hygiene services are provided to patients with limited access to dental care outside the traditional dental office setting.
Medical orders or a prescription for in-home dental hygiene services must be submitted by a physician, surgeon or dentist and are valid for 18 months.
